New machine has arrived: Hand Press ハンドプレス機、ついに購入！

​I am currently selling miniature leather boots and they are very popular items in my shop. When I made the boots I stamped the Karamel Logo on the soles.
現在、私のウェブサイトやマーケットで販売中のミニチュアレザーブーツですが、おかげさまでとても評判が良く、当店のベストセラー商品です。このミニチュアブーツの靴底には、キャラメルレザーワークのロゴを刻印しています

​Here are the tools I used to stamp the logo to the sole. Simply I hit the stamp by hammer. However….
刻印をする時はハンマーでスタンプを叩いて刻印していたのですが、、、

Sometimes the stamp slightly moved when I hit, and ended up overlapping….. I don’t know how much leather I wasted…
ハンマーを叩くときにどうしてもスタンプが動いてしまって、ロゴがずれてしまうんですよね。。。。このズレのためにどんだけレザーを無駄にしたことか。。。。

​That’s why I wanted a ‘Hand Press’ for a loooooooong time but I could not find it from New Zealand and the shipping fee is quite expensive if I get it from overseas because it weights over 25kg…. however, as Christmas is coming  I need to increase my stock level and my production to speed up. Then I decided to buy the hand press machine ! This is my new machine.
それでハンドプレス機が、ずーーーーーーと欲しかったんですが、ニュージーランドでは見つけられず。。。海外のサイトでは販売しているのですが、ハンドプレス機が25キロ以上とかなり重たいので、送料が高い。。。送料がほぼハンドプレス機と同額です。。。。ですが、クリスマスシーズンに向けて在庫を増やしていくため、作業効率を上げるために、ハンドプレス機を購入することにしました！こちらがハンドプレス機です。

​What you need to do is just place the stamp on the leather…
使い方は簡単。レザーの上にスタンプを載せて、、、、

​And Press ! The manual says the machine has 2 ton pressure !
圧力をかけます！取扱説明書によると最大2トンの圧力だそうです。

​The top logo in the picture below is done by a hammer, and the bottom is done by the hand press. Can you see the difference ??
上のロゴがハンマーで叩いたもので、下がハンドプレス機を使用したものです。写真では見えにくいのですが、違いがわかるでしょうか？？

​Actually, I ordered leather cutting dies from Japan and I am waiting for the dies to come to New Zealand soon, hopefully, next week. Once I get the cutting dies, I will upload to the blog and show you how I cut the leather using the hand press and the cutting dies. I cannot wait to get my new tools !
